100th Day of School Project: Finished!

February 1, 2010

So we’ve finished another milestone in our oldest’s educational carerr.  We’ve finished her first big school project.  She was to take 100 items and make something with it.  Having a crafty mom meant no Cheerios projects here (too many would have been eaten with a 9 month old around).

100 hearts (and probably 100+ brush strokes of Mod Podge)

And yes…she did it all except for using the Cricut.  Check out the entire process over on my craft blog:  Sew, What’s Next?

Very cute! Perfect for February. My daughter just celebrated her 100th day last Monday. She used 100 Littlest Pet Shop stickers for her project. She was so excited to turn it in.

Ahhh. Her friend is doing a sticker project. I’m not sure Bean could part with 100 stickers. She’d rather put them on the armoire or her bunkbed 🙂

    That looks great!
My mom didn’t allow macaroni either…but because she wasn’t going to waste it lol

LOL. Sounds like my mum. No macaroni in this house. I hate macaroni and cheese (and meat loaf) to the disappointment of the hubby.

Great idea! We have the 100th day coming up and I’ve been trying to think of something creative too.

By the way, thanks for the visit!

I was full of ideas but you know how kids can be…she pretty much veto’d all of mine. The hearts idea was fun but I really wanted her to cover a canvas with a ton of different buttons..course that meant a hot glue gun…not the tool of choice for a 1st grader. Thanks for the visit and good luck on the project!

I never did anything fun like that in school either. Joys of a small district I think. They celebrated in Kindergarten but I thought that was because they were learning to count to 100. PS…love the world with photo thing you are doing…still looking for other participants?
